new fire pit

so i spent the day yesterday building a new firepit in my back yard.

hard to see in the pictures but i dug it into a small hill i have out there. it keeps it from hogging up any space in my big flat area i use for sports. (football and whiffle ball)

for refernce its about 5' across the front. think im going to fire that thing up tonight!

When I bought my house, one of the first things I did was clear & build an 8' fire pit with a large seating area.

It's set back in the woods, 40' up a trail I cleared.

Great in the fall, the mosquitos will carry away small kids in the summer.

I love fire pits, I guess it's from camping as a kid, & killer bonfire parties I used to go to at Greely, back in the day.

loks nice man gonna be buildign myself a whole outdoor area at my house in the spring gonan try to do a 3 fot tall pit with a mesh grill n the top so it wil lbe easy for making smores and other goodies

have you tried the cast iron pie maker???
