welcome, as a fellow newb and new hampshirite....i think that's right but you know what i mean. im from the lancaster area, dalton/whitefield more specifically if you know the area better also a fellow boarder what slopes you hit up usually? ive also always loved the thought of being able to do a brake stand on a subie, but dont know if id want to give up the awd.... let me know what you thought of your conversion and how hard was it?
ya i know the white feild area my brother lives there. i usualy hit up wildcat, sunday river, breton woods and attitash. the convesion wasnt hard all you need to do is take out the front shafts and weld the center diff. the only with it is that the cars are not made for that much power in the rear. in the 2 years ive owned it i have snapped 3 center diffs blew up a rear end and blown 2nd gear. its kinda been more of of a pain then it is fun. ive been stationed in va so there wasnt snow but in getting out in november so im goin to be back up in the snow so im goin to need awd again
yay, more NH converts. welcome aboard. I'm in Whitefield, work in Lancaster, hubby works in Dalton. Can be seen in a wrb STi, black STi, or blue RS coupe (dirty impreza on the sides), give a wave!
nice, been to va beach before def is nice in the summer. but further north to where i was from they get snow doesn't always stay around but i had 2 weeks of school off straight because of almost 3 feet of snow over a week, but it was gone soon after
