Hello all! I'm Chad from northern Maine (Van Buren). I recently purchased my second Subie in a long list of cars, a used 2007 Legacy 2.5i SE. A friend spoke to me about this community so here I am.

I like the wheels on the old WRX! I also like that color on the Legacy. Good luck with it

I miss the wheels on the old WRX - those Prodrive P1s and Bridgestone PP S03s were sweet and cost me $$$ (That's when I used to have money! LMAO)

The Legacy has been great thus far - I couldn't pass up the deal I got on it and the color grew on me. I have slowly been giving it my personal touch and I will do the wheels up next summer. No sense doing that now when winter is at my doorstep. Yuck.

And yes, it is harvest time up north and most of the schools are closed down for it. I have been working as a subcontractor installing CCTV security cameras in local high school while the kids are away.

Welcome stranger!

don't worry about trashing nice wheels in winter....think of the 'white season' as an opportunity to have Big Dirty Sideways Fun and don't worry, the Leggy's bodywork is galvanized so salt is not the Enemy it once was.

welcome, and Think Snow (it's almost time)

*sigh* I use ta have a nice silver bugeye rex wag, then it hit a mailbox lurking deep in a quebec snowbank, which put the pass side eye out (plus bumper cover, headlight and F bumper beam)

then it rec'd a widebody nose job w/scavenged parts off a silver WRX sedan rally car (which centerpunched a birch tree), no paint needed, no prob (6 10mm bolts plus a buncha zip ties)

then some idiot blew the motor playing Course Opening Car at 2005 Rally New York

then I hadda rent a stupid Corolla to drive back to ME, then drive me truck n trailer to NY and rescue the wounded waggie

then a month of down time getting motor built back up

then sevral months of uneventful DD duty, then sold to first intrested party, a well known guy from Loiston whose test drive was in a snowstorm. This guy soon collected a big "Driving to Endanger" ticket....

And so now me dunno where this long suffering widebody wag might be domiciled....?????!!!! Any info would be appreciated, PM me with classified info.

Back to OP's topic, did I mention "welcome to MS," and "come on down to some BGR area meets when U can"
