I haven't had time to play with it yet, but I'll be messing around with it after work tomorrow.

As for the OBD2 unit, it's from deal extreme, aka cheapo chinese. It took forever to show up in the mail and came with a CD I don't dare to put in my computer. If I were buying again, I'd buy one from a reseller located in the US on Ebay.

There's also an iPhone app that probably does very similar stuff, I haven't looked into it. Any phone OS argument posts will be deleted.

I almost picked this setup up, instead I chose to pick up 12$vagcom cable from dealextreme, and using romraider to log via a netbook.

Tested it out tonight on the drive home. Works well for me. My Jeep hasn't thrown any codes yet, but it synced up fine and the program worked. It also pulls sensor data, which since the Jeep is old and dumb, means not many sensors are passed through OBD2. Still, for 30 dollars total I can pull CEL codes when ever I want, I deem it worth it.
