Yup, so a bit of background on this. A few weeks back (like 6-8) I bought a 1991 Honda Civic DX hatch from a friend for $250. Towed it for $50, and put $150 into it in parts and got it running. A few days later it started having an electric problem and was getting no spark, I didn't want to mess with it so I just let it sit in the driveway out of the way. A few days ago I came across a CL ad for a 1994 Honda CBR600F2 motorcycle (while searching for another Subaru) and as I was about to hit the back button...I saw "..or a 88-91 hatch.." which I just happened to have sitting in my driveway! I called the guy up and the guy came up today and took the car away and dropped a CBR600F2 in my garage.
So, I spent $450 and a few hours of my time and ended up with...
I'll get some non-CL photos tomorrow probably.
The bike is in good mechanical shape, it has 15,xxx miles on it, and it starts up great. I got a muffler with it from the guy and will put that on, but before that the first thing I am going to do is get rid of the horrible stickers on it, repaint the tank, front fender, and headlight cover and repair the minor things. I have to find some plastics for it, it only came with the belly pan but the rest are in good shape. I think I should have it all fixed up by summertime.
