WRwagon

Hey I saw a Mainelysubarus decal on a parked Lewiston WRX the other day and figured I would join the board. Sorta new to the Subaru world, got my 04 WRX Wagon about five months ago to replace a dying VW Passat 2.6 v6. The switch was pretty rough at first. The VW purred on the highway, had a great sound system, heated seats, moonroof, etc (even though it was broken 80% of the time). The Subaru had two busted speakers, loads more road noise, and a steel roof.

Which almost made me regret getting it. Until I actually drove the car. And realized that it handles better than pretty much anything I've ever driven (and I spent some time working at a car dealership), that four wheel drive is awesome, that Subaru's are reliable as anything, and that the feeling of the turbo kicking in around 3500 can be a cure for most of life's problems.

So as far as the not-stock stuff:

K&N Drop-in Filter

SPT Cat-back Exhaust

17" Enkei EKM3's in Silver

Cobb Tuning Accessport, Stage 1

Infinity Reference 6.5" Coaxials in the front

Kenwood Excelon KDC-X494 Deck

I have an extra set of 17" Mille Miglia (1000 Miglia) wheels that came with the car when I bought it, so I'm hoping to sell those when I get the time. They are pretty beat though, loads of rash. The car itself is in amazing shape but I get the feeling that parallel parking was not the last owner's forte.

Got a 12" Alpine Type-E Sub in a Q-Logic box, but no amp / nothing to hook it up. Not exactly sure yet how hard the install is going to be (my logic on everything is you should at least try to learn how to do it yourself). I've seen some people install powered subs under the passengers seat, so I'm toying with that idea too. Sound quality's the main priority, but having space in the back would be nice. I'm pretty open to suggestions. Oh, and I'm on the lookout for an amp.
