New to Subaru

Hello everyone, I'm 47 been in the auto body biz in Maine for a long dam time. I painted for 15 yrs in the portland area, tried my hand at sales of automotive paint and supplies for 10 yrs, now I help manage a Body Shop in S. Portland. So if you have any body or paint questions please feel free to ask. If I can't answer I know someone who does.

So my Silverado was killin me in gas driving from S.Port. to Auburn everyday. This ugly 99 OBS had been sitting in our yard with the nose hanging off for a year. I got it back togeather painted it black, rid of the ugly two tone and been driving it for a few weeks now. The funniest thing is i like it!!! was great in ths snow last weekend. Anyway, thanks for accecpting me to ur forum.

Welcome. Glad you're enjoying the Subaru, they're a blast in the snow and dirt.

Post some pictures of the OBS if you get a chance.

Welcome! I'm a bit south of you. I think you will be the third '99 OBS on this site!

+1 on pictures! I was thinking that I could use a good repaint down the line, but I think I'll be keeping the two-tone grandma's-car style

Welcome man! Do you still paint cars? I might have a vw rabbit for you do this summer, depending on funds and such.
