Nissan 370z

STInate

What do you guys think of it? Performance, styling, value, and quality.

How do you think it compares to a new STI?

It would make an awesome summer car, but for overall performance and practicality...its has to be the STi

i was (and still am) a HUGE fan of nissan. i owned a titan prior to my subie, and also the wife drove a 3.5se altima prior to the LGT. the fit and finish of those cars interior, as well as quality exterior was FAR better then subie. really nice vehicles!

when i came time to ditch the titan and pick up a car i was ready to buy a 350z (anniversary edition).... i wanted it BAD. i dont use my car for much more then a 2 seater anyway. but when it came down to it, a light weight RWD car didnt fit my needs as a all year round vehicle. and buying a second vehicle for winter beating wasnt in the budget.

sometimes i still wish i could have gotten it... as for the 370z.... mmmhhmmm good. but is it a good choice for around here. doubt it. unless you have a winter beater.

Lets say someone gave you a 99 ford escort that handles great in the snow?

then yah maybe...

i guess im just to the point where i would have a hard time making a huge payment on something and park it all winter. im really enjoying the fun i get to have in the WRX come winter... its almost more enjoyable. it gets outfitted to hit the mountians with my skis. and now with new snowtires/wheels its gonna be a really good time.

We'll if you get one, I like the red. Pretty s3xy.

I love the new 370z performance is pretty nice and it is a pretty tried and true motor that keep making better and better. But, from a stand point of living in Maine. I wouldn't want to park a car I am making huge payments on for 6 months at a time, I couldn't do it. that's why I love my sti I can use it all year and it is nice and fast.

ok well i went through the same thing. i actually had planned on getting a 370z from the get go. the impresive hp and tq numbers amazing style and got to love the rev matching. but at the end of the day i didnt get it for the same reason eveyroen else has said, its not practical for my situation. had i not had kids i would have gotten it in a heart beat. granted i never have the kids in my car but the option is always there if need be.

i would say get it while you can before you have kids especially if you have another you can use for hauling stuff around. you will have the rest of your life to drive a 4 door car. enjoy the 2 door sports coupes while you can

So now its between a brand new 370z(track), a used bmw 135i and a used g37s. What do you guys think?

Ironically, my cousin's cousin (meaning we're not immediately related) went from a WRB WRX (maybe STI?) to a bright blue 350z. He lives in Washington State though, so...

Sorry shoulda checked first Me bad

That would be pretty sweet if they had an awd version of the 1 series. They do make a 335xi but I dont know if I care for the way it looks.
