Anyone have a hookup for a good deal on some oem subaru engine oil and oil filters?

Need to change my oil soon and would like to continue (until i get my UOA back) to use oem oil/filter combo.

Thanks.

dealer can't beat what I pay

6 ish for filter, I user whatever trips my trigger for oil. Subaru synthetic is expensive and the conventional they use is mobil

I think he's talking about non-Subaru synthetic oil.

I'm thinking the same thing. I just picked up 5 quarts of Subaru Synthetic 5w30, a filter and new crush washer and it was almost $48 bucks. I'm pretty sure the dealership charges about $60 for the change, and doesn't require me to get dirty.

In this case, I'm going to have the car up on a lift tomorrow anyway, so I figured I'd change my own oil since I'm going to be under there anyway.

For $48 I could almost do 2 synthetic oil changes in my car. But that is using brands like pennzoil and valvoline. Could the subaru oil be that much better? Possibly but most likely is just an additive. I've heard of some amazing additives over the past couple years, a quart of lucas oil treatment is supposed to really help things out.

Where can you get 5 quarts of 5w30 Subaru Synthetic and a oil filter for $30? I must be missing something here?
You are missing the question mark at the end of my sentence.

I think he's talking about non-Subaru synthetic oil.
Or I was asking a question.

You don't always get the subaru branded synthetic when you have a dealer change the oil.  Idemitsu Lubricants America Corporation makes the oil for Subaru, so you can always get that.
