Oh raisin

Laundry is overrated.

If you want a new blackberry... one of my users dropped their new 8310 in Casco Bay. Tide may have take it out to sea, but then again, it might wash up on Willard Beach...

That sucks.

Nah, I have an ace up my sleeve. Since I manage the cellular accounts company wide, I'll just tell my rep she needs to send me a new one if she wants to keep getting all the new lines.

Shitty man...

I can second that the iPhones are a lot of fun, but a really decent tool at the same time... and the new ones are even better and only $200.

Newest update they had fixed a lot of the problems you may have heard from word of mouth.

Screw the iPhone. I have an iPod Touch, and that things hard enough just to get to play music. That, and ATiT coverage is next to nothing North of L/A. Not to mention, if I got one, runnah would never stop pestering me for his.

Plus, with BB exchange server, you're dealing with a bulletproof security protocol from handheld to server and back. iPhones are pretty; not a hardened device yet.

Anyway, for a replacement you TOTALLY want the 8830. WiFi. Rulez. I'm still trying to figure out how to get the sucker to make skype calls while I'm in a hotspot so I don't have to rely on minutes.

Skype through a blackberry would be sweet. My biggest beef with the 8310 Curve is the lack of wifi. I think it's pretty sick how I can walk into my house with the iPhone and it just picks up my wifi and off I go! I have an unlimited data plan, but still, it a wee bit faster.

Dude, I've already had the 8830, first person in ME with USC outside of the company to get one. The 8830 is just too big for my tastes. I've already pulled my Pearl back out to start using temporarily. The Curve was a freebie anyway, and it looks like my replacement may be too.

Now, if the Bold was out already...

I dropped mine in the toilet. WAY worse. Luckily it was clean at the time.

Cleaned it up, left it in the sun for 4 hours. Works like new.

Is the thunder even confirmed yet?? Pics? I just have to decide if i want to put up with AT&T for the service and get a bold, or settle for the curve with verizon. Not really a fan of the 8830.

I'll have a shiny (almost) new Red Curve tomorrow.

And yeah, the "Thunder" has been confirmed, I received the announcement email this week. It's been renamed the Storm, though.
