ok well my post i had abotu evo vs sti i talked abotu reliability the rock solid tranny in the sti etc etc. well guess who is an idiot............ this guy!! on the way to the sea dogs game my cluth pedal got stuck a few times. and when i came out of the game the pedal was to the floor. the car only has 800 miles on it i had to pop it out with my hand and is driving fine now but im bringing it in tommorow to get looked at.

While I would love to dance around with Joy over this, it really isn't as ironic as you think. The clutch pedal sticking to the floor could be one of many things, none of which being the result of a weak transmission. Either The Master or Slave cyl is bad, the clutch line has a hole, the shift lever is bent, the TOB is efffed, or the small chance that the block and trans have started to seperate. Also, it's quite possible that the clutch is just junk, which wouldn't be that far of a fetch for Subaru. If it is the clutch, it's a good chance to go Tilton CF...

No car manufacturer is 100% bullet proof. That`s why they all have warranties. Subaru has one of the better reliability records, that`s what made me buy my 1st back in 90 and I have been more than satisfied since 5 cars latter.
