What do you guys think about this? I know its not as good as the defi ones or some others but for that price? Your thoughts?

I'd prefer something more line of sight than a vent. I really like those cluster gauge holders. Or the subie gal ones.

The defi cost so much because they are accurate im not sure that no name guage can be reliable. I do like the vent mount though.

i like the simple dual pod inside the gauge cluster, though it can lead to running out of gas and not knowing...

37mm is TINY. (1.45") I seriously doubt you'd be satisfied if you saw it in person. I mean.. I have a fairly small faced watch and it has a 39mm crown!

I personally really like the location that this part fits in. I originally bought the glowshift set off Ebay with the clock pod.

It was ok, but I wanted a more stealth intall and I didn't mind loosing 2 of the three gauges. So I glassed over the vent nearest the driver and installed my boost gauge there. It's in a spot that is really easy to miss if someone is looking in, but is very easy to see when you are driving. The gauge I have is a 52mm so i tend to agree that the 37mm may be really small and hard to see. Notice that they don't show any pics of the view from the drivers seat?

I'll try to get some pics of mine here sometime, i really need to do that anyways.

If you wanted to do something custom, I'd be happy to work with you.

Yea that's where I have mine but in a ati pod. Its the perfect spot for gauges and has an oem look to it.

Here are some pics of the install that I did. It took a little time and I had to get an extra AC vent (just to have a spare) but I like the way it turned out. Except for the paint, I should have used a different type. I guess I am going to have to do it again someday.

^ Dang that looks OEM.

I don't like the idea of losing a vent for a gauge. I've seen some mounted in the left vent (the round one) which completely blocks airflow.

I totally agree with not losing the air vent. I don't like the round ones either.

I kinda wish I could have counterbored the hole so that the gauge would sit flush with the surface.
