There are promised benefits, but in the end, there won't be any discernible good come from a casino.

Theft, alcohol-related crimes and drug problems, yes.

Benefits, absolutely not.

In fact, you cannot find an objective study that shows casinos benefit anybody but the rich people that own them.

I voted No.

Plus it isn't a Maine company. So most of the revenue will go out of state. Also, people who don't need to be wasting money, ie. welfare, etc. Will be spending the money they do have and drawing more off the state.

I like it not, we'll see what happens...
