paint lines

Im doing the rear 1/4s on my OBS and I was wondering if anyone had some tims on how to blend the old and new paint where the line will be. Or how to avoid paint lines all together.

one way is to take 1" wide masking tape and bend over one edge into a tube about 1/4" around, lay this along edge of paint area. the raised edge partially masks and partially allows coverage, it all works to blend paint edges

When I do the rear quarter corners on my RS, I am planning on doing small flames over the new body work. That way the bondo is harder to see and breaks up the visual lines. Also the paint can have hard edges/lines.
