Painting a PS3 controller

So I don't know if any of you play the game MAG, for the PS3 or not, but I love that game, definitely worth the money in my opinion. This weekend I was playing with a friend of mine and spilled soda on my controller and thought since I have to take it apart anyway; why not paint it? You can play as 1 of 3 private military companies in the game and I play as S.V.E.R. so I thought I would paint my controller S.V.E.R. colors as well as clean all the sticky buttons. I used alcohol and que-tips to clean it so no more sticky I am happy to report. Here are some pics of the painting and the finished project:

Looks good. Any reason for the "weathered" effect?

I was thinking of doing this to one of my PS2 controllers. I can't use it because after using it for a while, your hands start to smell like cigarette from the rubber grip thing (I got it used
