I'm debating parting out my 1999 obs. I don't really want to because it's a wicked clean car but no one seems to want it whole. Needs engine work. Has 164k. 5 speed. Quarter pannels just bubbling on both sides. Anyone need anything? Or buy it all for 500.

Why are you even trying to sell it?

What's wring with it that your having trouble selling it? Does it pass inspection?

The phase II MAP ej22 is as bulletproof as an engine gets, and that is low miles for a car like that.

 
i can try to convince my fiance to let me buy it from you, i would like a newer scoob that has awd, im loving a 5-speed in my imp though

Ditto on the engine issues. What's going on with it? I'm kinda looking for one....

 
My fiend says it may need rings but just guessing. Smokes. Knocks. Loss of power. Still runs and drive though. Back window is also smashed out. Has 400 dollars in new rims and tires alone. Will come with Steelies. Stickered in july. Driver side seat is ripped. And has no radio in it. Green in color. Text me for pics and other questions guys 2074185413

I think you'll get more if you part it out.  However, be prepared to have a heap of scrap sitting around a while.  Dont leave it anywhere you need to plow.  I'd be interested in the whole thing if you have the title, but only for 200-250 depending on the rear sub-frame and rear strut tower condition.

Hows the tranny?  Noisy? Grind? Growl? pops out of gear?
