People who say "I know" too much...

I just hate hate hate it when you are talking to somebody, and you can tell they aren't even paying attention. They become a bobble-head, and just respond with "I know, right" or "Tell me about it" etc. without truly comprehending what you are saying.

Sure, I could just not talk to that person... except that's not the case. I just overheard a few co-workers... and this just got to me.

On a more serious note, I too find it annoying to talk to someone who isn't really paying attention. I will usually stop talking and just stare at them and see how long it takes them to notice.

I usually question the person when I pick this up and if they simply don't understand try to explain better and if they don't care change the topic. People can't really control their interests or intelligence, not worth getting bent out of shape IMO.
