People who turn around in my driveway...

ARGHHH!!! Went home for lunch today and it was either the garbage man or any number of the road crew trucks tearing up Broadway again that keep turning around in my driveway. Big tracks and half the driveway being dragged out onto the street. My gravel doesn't stand a chance against a big heavy truck and the end of my drive has turned to a mud pit with this damp weather. Pissing me OFF!!!!!

If I had proof that it was S.Portland contractors working on the road or the garbage man, i'd call the city and grandma... but we can never catch them in the act. They'll probably just tell me to shuddup and buy more gravel.

Landmines are really your only option. Not only will you catch them in the act, or at least what's left of them, but it'll probably stop, too.

I'd probably just take out the small kids in the neighborhood when they ride their bike down the sidewalk... Unless they have mines that will only go off if the weight is over 1 ton.

They sure do have such a thing. Anti vehicle/tank mines are activated only by heavy weight, as opposed to anti personnel mines

I get people using my driveway also and it pisses me off as well. I tried putting the Rover across when we had it thinking that would stop it, oh no they used the lawn then. >

I get people using my lawn too. People too lazy to back up into my driveway so they just swing it all teh way around digging their tire into my yard. Thankfully nobody has done it when the ground is soggy other than the UPS man who just MISSED the driveway and dug a trench.

Dear South Portland Snowplow:

If you're going to turn around in my driveway, please use the driveway and not the lawn.

Thank you,

The mikebike357 family

hahaha... that's funny. It's mainly the snowplow & garbage truck that piss me off because they leave deep trenches (not now that the ground is frozen...) Snowplow broke one of my driveway stakes too... wtf! That's $2 at Home Depot!

well if you want I can set you up with some video capture of these jerks

The recycle man didn't turn around in the driveway today. Good deal. What i've been doing is putting the bin (garbage & recycle) on the side of teh driveway so that they'd either have to get outta the truck and move it or drive over it. I'm waiting for more snow to throw my blocks for teh snowplow. Gonna pile it up on the sides to make it too narrow.

get the parking garage spikes so they can pull in but when there taking half your driveway out into the road thier taking thier tires out too
