Anyone out there runnig perrin tbe and up pipe? I'm looking for opinions on fit, performance, sound etc. Perrin is running a 14% off sale now and i'm thinking of getting them. Thanks!

if i remember correctly the perrin uppipe is non flex, which tends to lead to leak issues. i assume since you're looking at uppipes you have a wrx. i'd just pick up an sti stock one. cheaper and works better. make sure if the heatsheilds are still on either pry them off, or tack weld them on.

as for turbo back, i used to have the perrin dual pipe cat back. it was an awesome exhaust with good sound. they tend to be loud. i assume their DP is catted however, which i have no experience with

Ive never had a perrin exhaust but Ive had lots of other perrin parts that have failed. Their product support sucks , i will never have a perrin anything on my car. Sorry for the rant.

i have the uppipe, and have never had an issue.

i think shorty had the downpipe, and i know he didnt like it. poor fitment

nailman balls out control. i just don't think the perrin up is worth the money when the sti ups are so readily available and do the same thing with less issues. i guess the only time you have leak issues with non flex ups are with stis pushing high psi.
