Picked up a free project canoe today!

as of right now I'm trying to figure out what kind it is....

Its been repainted and repaired rather craptasticly....... but free is free!!!!

The last two numbers in the serial number are 74 so I'm assuming that is what year it is..

Ive been doing a bit of research on it and found that the first three letters of the HIN equal the manufacturer..........Pete's Plastic Boat Works (Blue Hill, ME) PPB????? anyone ever heard of them?

You should enter this thing in the Kenduskeag river race! The water is low this year so there will be lots of rocks to watch out for. measured it today .. it was 18 x 3.5 at its widest

Wow. I had a Coleman canoe that was that composite stuff. Maybe 14-15 ft. Had a 30 lbs thrust electric motor on it and she flew across the lakes. Rowing sucks.
