post your tint thread

Yeah, I'd like to see some pics too. I'm wondering what percent tint people got. I definitely want to tint my OBP Subie, but I don't want the tint to look too light.

My Spec B came with factory premium deep tint. Does anyone know what % that is ? When I brought my car in for the 1st service at Patriot the service tech said who did your tint and I said Subaru. Oviously not the typical tint that comes from the factory.

 
35%..... need to get a top strip done on the windshield. juns been telling me hes going to do it since he did my windows a year ago.

When I got my tint done back in 05-06, the legal limit was 50% and I wish mine was darker.

35% is the limit now..... so you have every right to be ripping pissed.

50% is almost not really noticable.

you could always have it redone. i would strip the side windows and retint them to 35%. then go over the rear window with another layer. its going to be a hair darker then leagal but wont be noticable with the side windows darker. and no one checks the rear windows when they meter. this will just save you from having to scrap al that goo from in between the rear defroster lines. hit up Jun's tinting and see what he can do for you. it will look badass.

I think black would look OK, but there's no other black on the car... Blue fits better

I dont think im gonna paint the new wheels but the old ones(winter ones now). I like the wrb, black always works, and I think im gonna have to paint a wheel gold to see what it looks like

Stick with WRB on the winter wheels. It brings color when everything on the road is dull with road-salt.

No sense wasting paint IMO if you're happy with WRB.

 
Which wheels are WRB? BTW, I have the wheel you let me use. I forgot all about it the other day when you came in. I moved it to my office so I'll remember. Thanks a bunch!
