Promblematic Clutch Issues

Hey I need some help figuring out a probable clutch problem.

When driving around and shifting...everything is fine until I shift from 3rd into 4th, now here's where it gets weird for me...it only happens once in a while, can someone please give me an idea to what it could be?

Thank You.

define "weird for me" ...by that do you mean

graunching/grinding?

funky shifter action?

won't go into gear easily?

selecting wrong gear?

shuddering?

aliens coming out of the gearbox??!!

Seems like it is grinding, but my clutch foot is to the floor. An won't go into gear easily, but if I wait for the rpms to drop a little bit, it'll slide in relatively easily. No Aliens lately, I frequently gas (fart) them!

4th gear synchro gone buh-bye. learn to double-clutch and/or start saving for trans work.

Get gearbox out. Split box. Fix syncros. Reinstall box.

It is a major service. Dealerships it's over 1k easy. I can't comment on indie shops/guys/gals pricing because I don't know.

take it from someone who has blown syncros in like 3 jeeps. replace the tranny with a used one.

These cars are not meant to be slammed into the next gear, or speed shifted. You should be able to use 2 fingers to transition to the next gear. Like the others said, it would be cheaper and easier to replace the tranny. But most likely the one you have will still last a while no problem, just take it easy on it. It's not a race car!!

Also this ^^^

But have a backup plan ready, especially when it starts happening on every shift. take particular care shifting into 4th until then, and when possible, skip it entirely.
