Proper spring in my Forge BPV

So my Forge BPV for my LGT came with 3 springs, a yellow, a red, and a blue; and two shims. It came with the blue one already in the BPV.

I did a little research online and this page says:

http://www.maperformance.com/forge-valve-spring-tuning-kit.html

Green - 5-15 PSI

Yellow - 15-23 PSI

Blue - 23-30 PSI

Red - 30 + PSI

My tune from EFI is supposed to hold 19.5 psi. any thoughts on which spring I should use? should I follow Forge's guidelines or should I go stiffer?

FYI here is my tune on EFI's Mustang Dyno AKA the dream crusher lol (it scores a good deal lower than most dynos

It wont let me use image tags for some reason here is a link to the dyno graph...

They match the spring with what typically the OEM piece will hold. I would say that even at your setup that it would be enough. You will just find that it will hold the boost more reliably then the stocker. Mine started to leak on me with my VF52 setup.

Best thing to do is slap it on and drive it. With a blue spring, it seem it will hold your 19psi with ease. If it appears that you are losing boost up top, or its dumping too easy or too much (it will be very laggy between shifts). Go up a color to hold the boost.

Thanks. I ran it with the blue at firs it seemed fine. I gave the red a try it dan about the same but I haven't heard t blowing off at all really. Haver heard compressor surge though either... I'm thinking I will go back to the blue. If I were to look at data on my access port would boost be the only number to view?

so... something bad has happened. any advice would be great

So here is the whole story. I got a Forge BPV. Was trying different springs (yellow, blue, red) in it and then decided to try a different tune. I have two revisions of my tune from Chris at EFI on my access port. I switched from the second revision (the one I have ran for the majority of the last 14,000 miles or so) to the 3rd revision (which corrected some minor stutter) that was still there but I wasnt sure if there were still some issues with). I did a full reflash of the ECU like I have done probably 20 times without an issue in the last few months. Soon as I went to drive the car it wasnt idling and was totally breaking up at about 2800 RPMs. Drove it up the block and got it back to my house.

Even though the Forge BPV had been running without issues for the last 3 days I took it off and put the stock valve back on just in case to return everything to how it was. I then reflashed the second revision to the car and it still didnt run right. I then reflashed the second revision to the car again and it ran better, but still doesn't feel right. I took it out for a drive and took this data log which has SERIOUS knock correction in it...

WTF could have happened? could the map on an Access Port become corrupt or something? Chris isn't back in town until tuesday and its driving me nuts I cant get any answers till then and I will be out of town when he gets back too... Here is the data log I took...

I should list basic mods... 2006 Spec.b with VF52, 650cc side feed injectors, AEM Cold air intake, Perrin TMIC, one step colder plugs, Invidia Catless UP/DP, Greddy Catback and so on
