Sup ya'll,

Kinda random question but I'm planning a road trip to quebec city in February via 207 according to Google maps. It'll take me 5h7mn... Which means I'll need to get gas at some point during that trip...

So doesn't anyone know if there are any 93octane gas stations on that trip? I'll grab some a t Webb's before I head out but this is unknown roads to me so trying to plan ahead

And I'm assuming Quebec has 93...

The only places I know that have 93 are a couple places around bangor and portland...

Why did you tune for 93 in Maine? just curious..

Well tune was originally done in NH where 93 isn't rare... Then moved here not knowing that 93 wasnt the norm but kept the tune since live close to Webb's and dealt with it just fine. When I was on Cobb maps, used 91 when had to but found I got better gas mileage on 93...

They have all kinds of octanes in Canada, up to 95 usually.  It will cost you, but you can get what you want at least.  Im headed to Quebec city next weekend actually.

I did that a few years ago, it was a really fun try!

I'll just use the 91 map Eric sent me and leave it at that until i get back to Maine since we aren't planning on using the car in QC but walk there.

It's just more of hassle to switch maps etc... and I was trying to avoid it. Oh well!

Update: Jackman town, which is probably about halfway there, has a citgo which has 93!!

QC is pretty sweet! Especially with all this snow!

could you get a 5 gallon can of Aviation fuel and stash it in the trunk for times when you have to be away from 93 octane? just put that in the tank and top off with 91?

Dunno enough about ratio to get at least 93+ but i guess it could work. But having a 91 map to go works just as well.

On this trip i didn't even need to use it since Jackman town's citgo carried 93 :-)
