Question for you Cumberland County folks???

Meg and I and hoping to move soon with the help from MAINIAC SPEC B. And the houses we find that we like ar in cumby county. I wanted to see how much of a PITA to get in an inspection? With a full catted turboback I'll prob be adding driving light again ...etc Thanks for all the info.

I know that's no help, but I think as long as the emissions light is off, you have your cats, and the car isn't too loud ... you'd probably be okay.

 
just make sure your ecm has no codes and that you don't have your cat code disabled etc...

you only get to fail one readiness monitor as long as there are no codes.

 
Sooooo I have a AP if I remember correctly doesn't the ap "disable" the codes??? If so maybe I'll have to go open source. It just hard to find maps for a canbus forester.

a lot of places out of cumberland county (lewiston etc) will still inspect your car and may not even bother with the codes.

 
yah.... i kinda wondered.... if you live there does it mean you cant go elsewhere (outside of the county) to get a sticker? it might be a little drive but go see the guys at M&A.

I'll have said cable later this week, & don't mind sharing, at all.

 
Sometimes they will ask you what county you are from. I just got inspected last week at this place I've never gone before and they asked what county I was from.
