My new year resolution, like many others', was to lose some weight and get in shape. Being a fan of rally and motorsport, I decided to take a look at what some of the world's top drivers do to stay in shape. My brother, a Ferrari Motorsport fan, recommended I take a look at Michael Schumacher's fitness and diet plan...two months later, I have dropped nearly 15 pounds...6% off my total body fat making up about all of that weight loss. It hasn't been a picnic, some of the hardest and...different workouts I have ever done but they are very effective. Europeans have a different sense of "good food" than we do, but fish and other sources of lean protien is never a bad thing. If others are interested in what I have been doing (its a time commitment for sure) let me know and I'll see if I can get you my workout routine. Just a note, if you do not have a gym membership and a workout partner for some days, this is going to be a difficult program to stick with.
