Rally programming on TV, FYI

Just FYI, I was surprised today (Sunday 10/4) to find a full afternoon and evening of programming devoted to rally racing, and somewhere I never would have expected it, on HDT (HD Theatre, I believe it's the Discovery channel's HD channel) - an hour program devoted to top 10 rally cars & car history, and hour devoted to the sport overall, another hour devoted to top drivers and their great races, an hour devoted to the top 10 crashes, and the broadcast of a 2009 Ireland rally, also playing again now (11 PM) and a few more times this week, and broadcast of a 2009 Norway rally for later in the week or next week (don't recall) - and more to come (some of the other program may get broadcast multiple times as well)? Hadn't heard or seen anyone talking abt it anywhere, thought ppl might like to know..... (and apologies if this info's already been posted somewhere, I didn't actuallly search the site)

it was cool considering it is not supposed to start until next week. But yeah I chimed in on it here and there, can't wait for the actual racing to start though

 
yeah watched it last night and actually passed out i was so tired from the drive then meeting up with the wife and kids at the fair after. haven't been that tired in a long time!!!

 
I have it recorded and watched some of the mini features last night...cool stuff. There is a mini documentary peice about Subaru Imprezas and their part in WRC history....basically Impreza = Rally Car!!!

If you want to change because of the crazy cable bills, call up Time Warner and tell them you're switching to a dish and want to cancel your plan....I was offered some serious discounts on my monthly bill for both TV and Internet!!

 
Direct TV ftw. Never heard much good about Dish from any friends that had it.

All Rally from Sunday on the DVR.

if you dont mind me asking what rate did you get? im thinkign abotu switching to a dish

 
Before I called, my combined bill for cable and internet was around $140...stupid, I know. After I called and changed a couple things to my plan (ditched some channels I never used and altered my broadband space on the road runner in addition to the previously mentioned discounts) my new bill is $80 a month with fast internet and all my cable channels except Showtime.

 
That's about what I pay. I wasn't happy with DirectTV. Like most places they wouldnt upgrade my receiver to HD unless I paid for it. Called dish the next day and ordered it up.

Missing out now on HD theater, other than that I really like dish. Cable blows. Get satellite
