Rant: Route 9

I was going up to Auburn by way of Route 9 -> Rte. 136 yesterday. That road sucks! In the Nissan Murano, which has 18" wheels with another ~3" of tire all around, and ~4" of strut travel, I think I shattered my back over the crest of a little hill where there was a nasty spot of cracks and bumps. I was going 5-10 under the speed limit already

.

On the way home I just stayed on 136 to Freeport and then took 295 to Yarmouth, where I was doing a steady 10 over the limit

Anybody else hate roads like this?

I seek those roads

a 100ft of weld and some kybs need some self righteous justice.

I saw the rte 9 in post and thought you meant the eastern (downeast?) brewer and north..or east..whatever that is. that road is nice terrain and curves.

I am constantly on roads in my 4runner that I examine and study just to see if my sewbie would enjoy a nice blast down it. I find less and less places I would actually want to take my car....

Yea now that I have those coilovers on, its a constant game of dodge the bump/pot hole.
yep... One side of my airdamm has left some pewter paint in a spot on rte 2 around here.... I was particularly unhappy about it but releived I got to learn where the spot was without extracting something simple like a FMIC...
