Rechroming in Maine?

Hi there,

I bought a non-suby side project and I am wondering if there is a place in Maine to get things rechromed?

What kind of non-suby side project?

My dad and grandfather had some things re-chromed for their streetrods a year or so ago. They went to a place in Fall River Mass, if I remember correctly. Its the closest place to drive to, otherwise your only other option is to have it sent out, but depending on the size/weight, that's gets really expensive (not to mention, re-chroming is super expensive these days). Most motorcycle shops can send things out for you.

I can get the name and number of that place if you like.

 
I bought a 69 Datsun 510. The chrome on it has seen better days. It would be great if you could get me a name and number.

 
Chrome plating process is very environmentally unsafe. I'd be surprised if there was any place in the state that did real chrome plating.
