Hey everyone!
As many of you know, my daily driver is a 2004 Subaru Impreza RS. I've had it for exactly one year. I've got some new plans for the RS this upcoming Summer, so I figured I mine as well start a Member's Journal so I can show you guys what happens to the car throughout the summer.
Let's go back a year!
I unfortunately cannot find a picture of the car when I first got it, but the image below is identical to what the car did look like at the very beginning.
I bought the car. It needed new tires and a transmission. So we put a new transmission in it, and got the new tires. I had the car on the road for about two days before I brought it to get the wheels plasti dipped pink!
The wheels were plasti dipped with Blaze Pink. They were extremely bright. After about a month they began fading and turned to an odd shade of orange, so I removed them fairly quick.
As you can tell in the picture above, the color really faded and did not look pink at all anymore, so it had to go.
I also had wanted to sticker bomb the car to continue the pink theme, so I made a teenager decision of getting a large Subaru windshield banner. The photo below shows that with one of my friends posing on my car haha.
I also got a breast cancer license plate to continue the pink theme, along with a vanity plate of ELFIES because this is Elfie's car.
I decided to go with black after seeing my friend's silver 2006 wrx sedan with black wheels. I fell in love with the look. Once seeing the black on silver, I decided my car needed to continue the black also, so I got the windows tinted. 35% front, 20% back. Sunstoppers did a great job.
As you can see on the rear window I also began my sticker bombing on the car. (The above photo is from the one time I autocross raced my RS).
I realized that the front of my car (now without the Subaru windshield banner) didn't really stand out at all besides the vanity plate, so I decided to paint the grille pink, just to add a little bit of a girly touch. You can sort of see it in the photo below.
Below are just a few more pictures of how the car looks.
Finally, here is a picture of what the rear window sticker bombing currently appears.
In the middle is a white sticker that reads "Husson University" and down the right side of the rear window is a pink sticker that reads "A Subaru Project".
My favorite exterior aspect that I've added onto the car (besides the window tint and black wheels) are my breast cancer special edition Rally Armor Mud Flaps.
Like I said, there is much more to come this summer. This has all been over the past year. I am beyond excited about the summer plans and cannot wait for the process to begin!
Thanks for viewing!
