Nice ride. I bet that car is still around, or at least the engine is....based on marine engine i think--they run forevah...

 
that's for sure. Barrett at Patriot is still driving his 82 Brick. It needs some TLC but it still goes and stops strong.

 
That car is indeed still around. Alan Auto on St.John Street has it. He wanted to sell it to me for some insane amount. It doesn't have the decals anymore, but otherwise is all original.

I remember seeing it patrol the streets of Scarborough back when I was a kid. Hearing stories of this unassuming Volvo that could run with Z28s was the coolest thing to me. I'm pretty sure that's where my brick love started.

 
That would be a killer car to own. Do you remember how much? Also, what was the milage.

Don't know the mileage, but he wanted something like $7-8k for it. He was telling me it had the baton holders and vinyl carpet in the back, and some other stuff like a cb radio, I think. I would love it,too. He told me a sign company could reproduce the decals.

I had a black 1985 240 Turbo wagon years ago. It was rough but cool. I'd still like a nice one someday.
