Seeking a Magic Bullet solution

changing front 02 sensor, 03 Foz X. the ((&^*%$#@@@!! sensor is hidden up under front subframe, how are ya spozed to change it.

apparently 3 options (besides blowing up the whole vehicle)

--special tool, like mebbe offset 22mm crows foot wrench etc

--remove heat shield (rusted 10mm bolts means this would be a total hack job) and replace when done since this covers a red hot cat

--drop headers/front part of exhaust system to gain space to access sensor with normal tools

can I get some guidance here, somebody find me Da Magic Bullet solution!

theres an offset O2 sensor socket at napa that might do the job, paired with the right breaker bar.

Otherwise, i'd go option #3, since chances are, the sensor is really ON there and will need some leverage to get off

It ws the same on my car...

First take the wheel off for more room (or just turn it all the way to lock haha)

There should be a little hidden flap/door on the fender liner that you can put your hand through to get to the sensor.

Use the offset O2 sensor socket Lobstah is talking about, and crank away!

I didnt have a breaker bar when i did mine, i ended up using a cordless impact gun with an extension to loosen it up. doing this on the side of the road mind you haha
