why is it i cant find a 02 impreza service manual like chiltons or the like at ANY autoparts place?

what is the best thing for a CONSUMER to use (i dont want to spend much more than 15-20$...)

I had this same problem with the 97 obs...

your best bet is to watch ebay i just bought a 5 piece factory service manual set for $31 shipped

Or go to Subaru service site or whatever its called and get 72 hr access for $35 and download factory service repair manuals in PDF

Or you can go to your favorite dealer and order the shop manuals you need. They were $25-$45ea. on exeter's site, dont see them there anymore but I'm sure they're still available.

Most people only get the engine manual, a few get the electrical, some are manly enough to get the tranny manual.

Are you able to save the .pdfs forever, or do they have some sort of expiry date?
