Shifter Bushings

Prior to our last meet in Auburn I stopped by EG to get my free oil change, just one of the many goodies I won at our 1st anniversary meet raffel in April, and had Joel install a set of Rallitek 6 sp shifter bushings also. Rallitek had them on sale at half price only $18. Well after I left EG for Gippers I really didn`t notice any difference. Now 10 days later I can honestly say I notice my shifter is much improved. Maybe they had to seat or break in. Anyone else have shifter bushings changed only and noticed a difference ?

Yes! I just changed the forward shifter bushing, and the lever pivot bushing on my FXT and I love it. They are Kartboy, price was great and now I don't hate my shifter anymore. Great bang for your buck mod. The longish throws don't bother me now that it is tight.

cant be cheaper then a free shift knob...

i did mine and noticed a difference immediately. i don't see how they could "break in". i did a short shifter first, and i think it made the sloppiness of the rubber bushing more noticeable. now with the bushings all is tight and direct. it just clicks right into gear.
