I actually closed this thread, processed what I just read, and then re-opened it to ask the following question:

Did you grow up in the US? If so, how in the h-e-double hockey sticks could you have missed Short Circuit?

Wait - sub-question - how old are you? My elderly rantings may have been a bit premature.

 
Short Circuit came out in 1986, Short Circuit 2 came out in 88. So, EJ255 would have been 1 when the original movie came out. :

Anyway, to date there are 7 episodes, and all are pretty good. Ep 2 also introduced me to my new favorite word, thingamafucker.
