these tires are excellent. had a set on my Miata (

) and they were super sticky with nice clean breakaway. Pretty loud tho with lots of road noise, make sure that's a tradeoff you can live with.

and RS-2s are not good, I mean NOT GOOD in snow tho...I'd get stuck in my driveway trying to go downhill in a couple inches of snow.

one note if you take up Tire Rack on this wicked deal...the RS-2s are substantially wider than their size designation would indicate. My miata RS-2s were 185/65-14s, which sounds kinda skinny (stock size for early Miata) but they were in fact more than an inch wider than the stock size tires they replaced. so if you upsized your WRX to say 225/50-16s, you'd have some seriously phat rubber on the road.
