Slammed trucks

Chris

YARRR SUBY MONSTER!!
I don't understand the point with slammed trucks. Not only does it completely negate the purpose of a truck, it looks silly. Anyone have some insight on this for me?

They look sort of like mechanical slugs...

Guy I work with has a slammed vw rabbit truck with a 2.0 swap soon to be supercharged. He did it to be unique. I think guys want hosspowah and handling but still want to act masculine when they say " get in the truck" idk, some it's tolerable but. That dodge is awful

if I had air suspension in my car it would have a height range from a little bit lower than stock to LIFTED SO I CAN RALLY IT! Not OMG I JUST HIT MY ROCKER PANEL ON A PEBBLE!!

At least due to the way truck suspension works, it makes it harder for retarded camber...

I think they slam their trucks so they can get a couch in and out with ease!

I don't run into slammed trucks but I do see lowered. Air bags are softer then a truck that has a 2-4" drop from what I can gather. My brothers 03 Chevy 1/2 ton has a 3" or 4" drop that also levels it. It rides stiff.

I wouldn't mind something that low when I get older. No lifting myself into the truck.

ive always liked the toyota s runner......2wd 3.4 v6 supercharged....low but not slammed. its just not practical here in maine, kinda like trucks with 6-10 inchs of lift that never see the mud.

Or with a lift and only RWD

There's a guy on New Gloucester Rd (or is it Grey Rd?) (Rt231) with super low Dodge truck. I actually think it looks cool, plus he can still haul stuff with it so its not totally useless.
