Hey all i got a new HD camera and wanted to get a good Subie Winter video together. i live in Portland and am willing to travel i know snow is still a few weeks/ months away but i wanted to get an idea of who would be down to get together so when the first storm blows through we can get it going.

Parking lot's are fun but i was thinking of a few roads in the area, there's a round about in Windham that could be a lot of fun.

I was gonna say come to the dirt drive, but rez already said it! Come to the dirt drive!

You can sit co-driver with someone and film. And read directions at the same time...

come drive some of these roads we are going to do on the Dirt drive in the WINTER! doing 60 on a snow covered PAVED road in the winter?? Try doing 60 on a single lane ice and snow covered logging road with 4 foot snowbanks to "help" you slow down through the corners. now we are talking excellent footage.

are the directions in course note form? or boring form?
i assume you are talking about the Dirt Drive, and no we will not be providing you with "Stage Notes" or "Pace Note" the route book will be in TSD format as illustrated in my second post in the thread. Standard Tulip notes with distances and descriptions of intersections. So yeah... "Boring Form"

Well, if he is interested, he can ride with me and I can drop you off at cool places, and you can get some cool videos, and have the last vehicle pick you up and at the regroup, do it again..

i also live in greater portland and love to drift around in the snow. we need to get a group going for this winter!

I decided not to do the Dirt Run I like my paint, intact.

But if all goes well, guys...

Good news!

This winter, my friend Jordan will most likely be cutting a snow-drifting track up on his property up near Pownal.

Clearly, HE ASSUMES NO LIABILITY FOR PEOPLE DAMAGING THEIR CARS.

That said, I expect after we have a nice snow base he & I will host some BBQ-laden, free-form snow-drifting events, simply so's we can all have some legal, "off-road" fun with our cars. Oh yeah, on a snow track that's cut & built to be as forgiving as possible... Lol!

Good pics/videos to be had then, I'm certain... Hello YouTube!!
