gotta love Friday's weather! 6" followed by rain. The lake in my driveway filled up nicely after the snowblower chewed the crap outta everything. Then, since the snowplow turned around in my driveway and left deep tracks, all teh water running down the road diverted to my driveway and make the lake grow and grow and flow and flow right into my garage.... Thankfully SoPoSube had the idea of building a big snow dam at the head of the drive and then drove his car down teh side of the road to make canal. Worked like a champ... but it was too late for the garage...

ShopVac'd about 30 gallons of water & slush off the floor this morning and then tackled the 1.5' of snow on my porch roof that refuses to melt.

I'm beat...

much neater job unless you have a gravel driveway that floods... my driveway is a friggin' mess right now. can't wait till the thaw so I can get it paved.

Just wait for Tuesday when the highs are around 12. You should try to fill it up with water so you can iceskate!

 
what do you hate the kids that much.so when they come to salt the road and turn around in the yard they run over the kids >

you should just get a guy with a backhoe to dig it out a little bit. aerate the dirt and add tons of water. so this time when the town truck backs in, it sinks up to the dump in nice sticky mud.

Yo yo yo!!! It's back again in teh Forecast!!!!

Major Winter Storm... 6 to 10" starting Friday evening into Saturday morning.

It's possible... probably won't happen...

 
excavate before the storm!!!!
