So How Big is It

The new super Walmart just opened in So. Sanford last week. It supposedly the 6th largest in the country. This doesn`t make sence we are talking Sanford not some big city. But it is big and the isles are wide. I bet you could run the 1/8 mile down the center isle from the tire dept and be able to stop before you crash into the meat market

they build the biggest ones in places like sanford. back home they have had a 24hr walmart supercenter for a few years now in a town called Ware. it's a fairly rural/industrial town maybe 20 minutes from springfield. it's basically the only place people from that area go shopping for ANYTHING. people may travel from bigger towns or cities, but the bulk of their business is from devoted local customers that have no other choice. if anyone has seen the WalMart episode of south park, it's exactly like that.

by the way, the new one in scarborough is the biggest one i've ever been in. it's the most insane thing i've ever seen. and it's ALWAYS BUSY. they have like 30 checkout lines and they still only open like 3.

why would walmart even be worth talking about?

Unfortunately it is a lot cheaper than a lot of other stores and we can't all afford to pay more for something we can get for less. I hate it as much as anyone but again, we aren't all able to buy expensive things:u:

im sorry but im willign to pay and extra 20 bucks a week to not have to go in that god forsaken place!! i refuse to stand in line for 20 minutes to check out of a place that has 40 registers and no one on them. there are plenty of places were you can get stuff at the same price if not less without the hassel

Some stuff yes!! But household items, usually not, I have a wife and daughter to support and go shopping often and always shop for deals. I'm sure you can afford the extra 20 bucks a week, you obviously can, look at the car you drive, but I can't. I wish I could, I work my ass off and I have to settle on places like Wal-Mart. I'm not trying to be an ass, but you have to understand that all people can't afford better:(

I heard the Scarborough one was the biggest in the country. Anyways, I will not go in there anymore unless it is first thing in morning or after 9pm. Parking lot sucks, and the store itself is annoying as hell. People just hang out in there.

I recently moved from Biddeford to Sanford and I though the worst dregs of society shopped at the Biddo walmart. They don't hold a candle to the freaks that shop at the Sanford one. I am scared to go in there sometimes, afraid to get some weird disease. I think it's worse now that the new store has opened up. "Heck, I don't have to get dressed up or nothin', just going to Walmart...."

A BRA IS REQUIRED CLOTHING IF YOU WEIGHT 500 LBS!!!!
