its late and I will write a better story when I'm not tired, but I figured I would see what you guys thought of my recent screw up haha..

long story short for now, I had clear bra on my car from the previous owner, hit dead animal on highway and it tore a smallll section so I tried to pull a little off and got carried away. Most of it came off easy until one strip took all the paint off (about a 1 foot line) right down to the bare bumper. So i got a little creative in hiding it and tried this look out...

Please feel free to post your opinions and I will get better pics up asap.

This was a trial to see how I thought it would look. The teeth were obviously a joke. haha

Now before you say anything about it looking off by this picture, It is indeed JUST THE PICTURE. The lines are pretty much perfect and I did all the taping freehand

to me it looks like a subaru, an audi and a evo had a 3some and this was what happened...haha

Scary as hell to do this to my front bumper but it came out okay for a spray job and not planning it at all. Still not sure if I like it but it sure is different. I also have a Lip coming in that should tie in nicely.

Did you clear coat it yet? I would probably do a flat clear coat if I were you. Glossy paint has a higher LIDAR profile

Thanks guys! I was def nervous to do something this drastic and especially this unplanned (started at 9:30 pm Mon night, ended at 2 am and up at 6 for work haha). It's def starting to grow on me. Once the lip comes in I will get some better pictures up for sure.

 
Seen a couple guys on NASIOC do this. Looks pretty good

yeah I have seen a few do this but they usually just do the center, not the lower lip part of the bumper...buuut since that was the area that I had peeled the paint off I kind of had no choice. haha.

when I get better pics up I will zoom in on the paint. It blew me away how smooth it came out. Tons of light sprays and a few light sands in between really filled everything. I could probably wax it its so smooth. spray paint FTW

 
It ties in nicely with the hood. If not for the hood, it might not work. I bet it looks a lot better in person. These things always do.
