We actually had one at the new sebego a couple months back. They didn't quite have enough room for us. At any rate we are going to have this in the L/A area. We like to bounce back and forth to accomodate as many people as possible. We have a few places in mind that we're trying to narrow down

we should do a drive sometime!
+1 on that!

Maybe the July meet? It'll give enough time to put together the next regular meet, plus give mods a chance to plan a good route if there's sufficient interest.

july meet will be the baseball game.
excuse me!!!!! baseball game, there is a RALLY in July. I'd better see a good show of MS hands volunteering at this rally.

DaVinci's Eatery in Lewiston

Their Website:

DaVinci's is known for their endless supply of mouth watering garlic knots; superb pasta, pizza and other fine entrees; large portions; towering desserts; alcohol; great staff; and can accommodate large parties.

Holly, said that she can comfortably seat 50 people in their Vespa room (vespas as in "scooters" not "hornets and wasps" hahaha). It's a themed room with old scooters all over the place or something along those lines.

The parking lot is amazing! It is a sleek white [painted] concrete lot, will hold our cars and allow for an outstanding photo opportunity.

OR

Heidi's Brooklyn Deli Auburn, ME (by WalMart and across from T.G.I. Fridays) Because it's easy to find, it should attract MANY members, including Evergreen employees.

HEIDI'S NOW SERVES BEER AND WINE to compliment any of their colossal sandwiches, subs or hearty salads. Their menu items are made to order any way you like.

You definately get what you pay for there.

They have a selection of desserts, and are known for their canolis.

Here you purchase your items, then seat yourself. NO GRATUITY HERE AT ALL (unless you wanted to put a buck or two in their "karma jar").

The outdoor patio will seat a very large group comfortably, providing we have decent weather.

Adjacent to the outdoor patio is the Social Security building's parking lot, which will be empty and available to accomodate our potpourri of Subarus!

Good idea though... could also have a BBQ at a beach or something.

I don't really know of any good beaches that are accessible by car though... I'm an elitist and will only go to beaches you have to access by boat

it will be at gippers pending reservations.... will know for sure today.
The cook there was one of my customers boyfriends [he too was also a customer]. When I talked to him about 2 months ago asking if their crappy service has changed- since the last time we had a Subaru meet there... he said it is much better and they'll do one heck of a job to accomodate our needs this time around. We won't be waiting 1 hr and 45 minutes just for them to take our drink orders and then wait another 45 minutes to receive them then wait for them to come back 30 minutes later to place a food order etc etc etc. That was promising.
