So I am at Hannaford last night around 5:00pm, which happens to be the busiest time of day. I grab my 10 items or less and head on over to the express lane. I stand behind about 4 other people. All of a sudden I spy something out of the corner of my eye!

The woman next in line has only a single pack of gum!

Ok, don't panic she may just be in a rush...what, why is she taking out a pen?!

Oh no! She is writing a check for a single pack of gum!!!

Well maybe she is going to be getting cash back or something...

NO SHE JUST WROTE A CHECK FOR $1.09 FOR A PACK OF GUM IN THE EXPRESS LANE DURING THE BUSIEST TIME OF DAY.

that's why I go to Shaws... for just a few items I run thru the "Express Self Checkout". Of course, it farks up half the time so I have to go use another one but half the time it's faster.

Say the word we'll give you a shot. That crap really sux! Do it while it is still cold out, it was summer when I did it and the burn was awefull. ;D
