almost din't recognize the rabbit pu, usually they're so rusty you can see the ground thru the rear quarters!

The snow pics were taken on my driveway, last week on my ride to work. And that&#39;s my 81 rabbit pickup, (1.8 gas) currently is an unfinished project and used as a shed. Is basically a rolling chassis, no motor, harness, fuel tank, interior. Motors prepped for 2.0 crank incase i want to reuse. But what I really wanted to do with it is make it front engine rear drive, or rear eng rear drive. Lack of funds and time, need to get a house first. Makes me sad to see it sit there.

hrmmm, RWD rabbit....now there is one twisted project....ahem ok so bolt the regular rabbit gear backwards in the hiney and presto you got a sorta 911 that can haul to the dump ....have you ever heard of such a thing. spoze if it can be done it has been, and if it hasn't been done you oughta.
oh oh, a better idea. mount the rabbit drivetrain facing forward in the hiney, and you got a mid engine rig now, call it the Cayman pickup
