Hey all,

I've been wrenching on Nissans, Hondas and Toyotas for a while... and now it's time to wrench on the only other Japanese car company that matters. (See what I did there?)

Looking forward to meeting like minded grease monkeys and getting my hands dirty on some of your cars.

If I can swing it, I hope to do a eg33 gc8. This is a dream that I wish to fulfill.

Nope, I don't have a brother.

I'm actually really happy how active this forum is. I've been into imports for a while but none of the other 'scenes' are that active in Maine. Seems to be dubs and scoobies.

If anyone is in the portland area and could use a hand wrenching don't hesitate to PM me.

Here's a quick pic of my car.

It's dyno tuned and made 170 whp 129 wtq on 93 octane. It's very fun to drive and gets 30 mpg no matter how hard I beat on it.

I found Mainely Subarus through word of mouth, I'm glad I did. The mainevwscene guys are ****bags.
x2, most modded VW's around here tend to be aasholes. I love it when they drive dumped cars with more money in wheels and maintenance than they do in the actual price of the car

ive got a few friends who were hardcore VW drivers for as long as they have been driving... till they drove some Japanese cars... now they have nissan and subaru lol

oh and i wanna add that one of them was slammed so low it pushed the oil pan into the oil pump pick-up and murdered the engine. after replacing that engine, the car caught fire... time for change?

Oh, and don't get me started on the Honda scene... christ.

The B13 Sentra scene used to be awesome, not anymore though, most guys moved or sold out to Hondas/S13s (me being one of them).

i really dislike VW and most VW owners ive met. The honda community is good, except for some ricers lol
