Stage 1 Reflash questions

Hey guys!

This may sound like a noob question ('cause it is) and it's probably been asked before, but who around Central Maine can do a Stage 1 reflash on my '09 Rex? And, what implications does it have when it comes to warranty type stuff? Bought it at Evergreen, if anyone from there wants to weigh in. Already got SS and a K&N drop-in. Anything else I might need for Stage 1? Any help would be great!

Thanks a lot!

M&A can do it and you be fine warranty wise and there is nothing else needed for a stage one set up

Yah you don't need anything else for a stage 1 tune. Hit up M&A for a quick flash.

Just so everyone knows:

I contact M&A about the reflash, and they advised me that since I have an '09 WRX, I'll need to replace the stock fuel pump with the Walbro before I go stage 1. I was told the stock pump won't keep up.

Huh. I wasn't sure you really needed a fuel pump upgrade for stage 1. I mean COBB builds their stage 2 without a pump upgrade.

If you have any intentions on going further then stage 1 (you will) you might as well do the pump upgrade.

That's what M&A told me. Said they couldn't do the reflash wo the new pump. I figured I'd go for it, like you say. I'm sure I'll want to move up to Stage II in the future anyhow, so I might as well get it done now. I'm already starting to get the fungus...

2010's seem to be the ones that need a pump stock, that isn't bluffing those cars seem to really really be done on fuel pressure.

You can make it work, but on a custom tune basis, much easier to put a pump in.
