stalling

so under open throttle my legacy almost dies of that comes right back the guy i bought it from said something about a fuel cut off? I could probably figure it out but i guess i don't have the time and need a quick fix. Other than that today was the first day i have driven it since i got it home. It is completely legal and fun as h#ll!!!!

heh, my 2008 tends to stall sometimes, and its an automatic. I really wouldnt have any idea.

Does it have a boost controller? boost gauge?

no gauge yet. no controller yet.

Stock boost is 9.5 PSI, fuel cut comes on I believe at 11-12 PSI. You need what's called a "fuel cut defender" a little electronic gizmo that allows you to run more than stock boost. Ask Evilaspie, he knows all about 'em :thumbsup:

A boost gauge i think would be priority one though. So you can keep an eye on boost levels. Is it still running the stock turbo? IC under that RS scoop?

hey evil you have the old guage from the leagasaurus you could loan him to check on pressures and i think i still have a ream of that tube.

so problem solved the guy who put it together used over sized vac lines causing the car to spool to 10+ psi but an easy fix. i put in the new automatic tonight and just got home at 3:30 am it was a long night.
