Stalling..

So... the 1.8 is starting to show age and starting to give me hell sometimes. First off, sometimes it doesn't want to start - everything's turning, but feels like it just cant start. The consequence of this action is a Camshaft Position Sensor code. I have to get out and wiggle the wire that goes to the sensor, and then the car will start. (no breaks or chafes is the wire).

And now she decides to stall at the lights. Red light, neutral, foot on the brake.....sudden drop in RPMs and she dies, then i have to repeat the step described above to get her going.....

Any ideas? CPS crapped the bed?

 
There is a super secret cam and crank sensor kit that lists for like $40. Don't buy them separate.

At least if the 1.8 is the same as every other Subaru I've tried them in.
