Got ya. I will admit I do have a bad habit over tightening stuff to the point I can never take them apart again. But I found a torque wrench so I guess I will see how much it will take to move it and go fro there. Hopefully this will be the easiest install ever.Tighten them till they are tight. Feel how much resistance it takes to remove them, and put them back the same. Not something you have to worry about too much, just don't put all your weight into it or you'll break them off.
suby shouldn't need alignmint after strut bar install, especially if you keep car on the ground when doing the work. those top mounts fit into the strut towers pretty tight.I had to get an alignment on my last car after installing one of those. The struts shifted slightly once the bolts were out. I didn't notice it happen but I had it checked afterward and sure enough it needed it.
+1 If it needed an alignment, it was because it just did after driving on the lovely Maine roads.suby shouldn't need alignmint after strut bar install, especially if you keep car on the ground when doing the work. those top mounts fit into the strut towers pretty tight.
