First impressions: Shifts like buttah, even in the cold!!! Shorty/Adam hooked me up with some @ Evergreen and I could not be happier. Upshifts/Downshifts are MUCH improved. It is exactly what I was looking for in a gear oil.

I'll update when I've put a bunch of miles on it.

Subaru part #: K0322AA093 It's a 75w-90 so you can toss it in almost anything.

I know this isn't turbo powertrain specific, but we don't have a tranny forum!

Sweet. I'm hopin' this stuff will quiet my RS down.

I need some tranny fluid for the legacy, I'll stop by Evergreen and pick some up

werd. I can't say that I paid any attention to tranny noise before/after so I can't speak to that. However, I did pay attention to everything else and couldn't be happier haha.

You'll have to bring your own container to EG as it only comes in bulk.

garrett if you get some, can you bring a gallon jug and have em fill it up for me? ill pay you back when I see ya!

I do not like the Subaru Extra-S. Never had much luck with it in my tranny box.

I'm using Scotty's cocktail right now.

and it's cheap enough that it's worth a shot. maybe extra-s is not so awesome for the bugeye trannys? I've seen scotty's cocktail work well in them, but haven't had any experience with it in a 6spd and don't really like the whole "cocktail" methodology unless the tranny already has issues.

Dan's right. I just used Mobil 1 75w90 in both differentials/gearbox and its nice and smooth in acceleration and shifting. However, if I had known I could by the amount I needed at Evergreen, I would have gone there instead of advance auto.
